POOJA ROOM

1.  Pooja  room should be in  the North-East zone.
2. Door to the pooja room should have double shutters and four frame
3. Deity should face West, East and North, but never South.
4. Worshiper too can face any direction except South.
5. When the building has more than one storey, the pooja room should be in the ground floor, rather than in the first floor.
6. Pooja room should not be attached to any toilet on any side.
7. Above the pooja room there should neither be a toilet nor a kitchen.
8. Prayer room and meditation rooms too shall be located in the North-East zone of the building and preferably in the ground floor.
9. It should be noted that North-East corner of livin room should be vacant and clean and it is better to hang a picture of a deity there which has to face West.
10. Cows shed should be in the West or North-West but should not touch the North side wall.
